On Your Way To Christmas

CHRISTMAS STORYTELLING TIME!

What stories do you remember?

Some of our fondest memories are often tied to Christmas storytelling. Could be the time a child first heard about Rudolph’s red nose. Or the laughter that followed a family memory!

Stories become an important part of our personal history. Good stories – and good memories – bind us together as we share them year after year.

People who have read The Girl Who Found Christmas over the years will be ready to read starting tomorrow! There are 25 bedtime stories in December, beginning December 1.

Time To Start Reading!

Children around the world have enjoyed following Belinda as she tries to figure out what Christmas is all about. Some agree with Belinda that it might be all about the tree! And so there are drawings of trees on kitchen walls and refrigerators from here to New Zealand! But what if it’s about the reindeer? Or the snowman? Or something else altogether?

Creating Tradition Through Christmas Storytelling

Storytelling and sipping cocoa can make powerful memories. The power of a well-told Christmas tale can spark a child’s imagination. But Christmas storytelling isn’t just about the words on the page; it’s about building traditions that stand the test of time.

There are classics like “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens. And family stories that weave together the fabric of our holiday experiences. They connect generations and create a sense of shared history.

Create Some Memories!

Christmas storytelling is a tradition that goes beyond the words on a page. It’s about creating lasting memories, imparting valuable lessons, and building a sense of togetherness.

So, this holiday season, gather your loved ones, find a cozy spot, and let the magic of storytelling bring joy and wonder to your Christmas celebrations. And join Belinda on her journey “from the magic to the manger.”

Thank you!

Go find a book, buy some crayons, sing a song, read a book to a child, or write one if you have to. You can do it!

Please share your own experiences and suggestions in the Comments below. And tell me about your favorite Christmas books!

There once was a little girl who thought Christmas was about the tree. Or the reindeer. Or the stockings!

It’s almost Christmas!

Has she figured it out yet?
